It is the desire of Pack 320 for every Scout and every leader to be in uniform at all Scout functions. The "official" uniform for Cub Scouts includes the shirt, pants, belt, hat, neckerchief, slide and socks. We realize that boys in Cub Scouts are constantly growing so we have made some exceptions. The Pack requires each Scout to have the uniform shirt as shown below. (Please note that Tigers, Wolves and Bears wear the blue shirts while the Webelos can transition to the Boy Scout Uniform of khaki and green.) It is up to the Scout and their parents as to whether the shirt has long sleeves or short sleeves and the actual size of the shirt. We do recommend that the Scout gets the short sleeve shirt in a slightly larger size so they can wear the shirt for several years. The official insignia for the shirt must be purchased separately. The insignia includes the red unit numbers (320), the Council patch and the World Scouting Symbol. The Uniform Insignia Placement Guide is located on the Forms page of this website or by clicking here. Jeans are acceptable for pants.
If you cannot remember all of this do not worry–the staff at the Scout Store on Westover Terrace are great and will make sure that you get everything that you need. If you have never been to the Scout Store you deserve to take you and your child to the store to see all that Scouting has to offer. You might even find something for yourself while you are shopping.
